CAPRISONGS' is Twigs' most catchy project she's released. The production on this thing is extremely punchy, futuristic, and hypnotic, with Twigs once again displaying her effortless vocal ability.
Twigs was obviously trying to have as much fun as possible on this mixtape and as a result that leaves us with a super poppy and EDM compilation of tracks. "careless" is a super catchy bop with a beautiful little feature from Daniel Caesar. "ride the dragon" is definitely my favorite on the album and it is a fantastic introduction to the tape. Its production is hypnotic and very, very trippy which left me wanting more. The ending track "thank you song" has a delightful melody and contains classic FKA Twigs depressing undertones through the lyrics and production.
This project most definitely has the rawest replayability out of all of FKA Twigs' discography. Definitely, a great album to jump around to or sit back and take in.
